Israeli MP, Shlomo Benizri, told parliament that the recent seismic activity in Israel is due to the continued positive attitude towards homosexuals in Israel. Speaking of the earthquakes, Shlomo said:
"We are looking for earthly solutions, how to prevent them," Mr Benizri said.
"I have another way to prevent earthquakes. The Gemara says that one of the reasons earthquakes happen, which the Knesset (parliament) legitimizes, is homosexuality."
"God says you shake your genitals where you are not supposed to and I will shake my world in order to wake you up."
Stopping "passing legislation on how to encourage homosexual activity in the state of Israel, which anyway brings about earthquakes," would represent a cost-effective method of preventing future earthquakes, he continued.
That "shake the genitals" bit is hilarious, don't you think? Way to go, Shlomo! Anyway, we have heard such crazy talk back when the Tsunami hit Asia. Just Google the terms "tsunami punishment" and you will be inundated with stupidity upon stupidity, and it's all of a religious nature I may add. It's only a matter of how much you can take before your eyes and ears start bleeding, how long you can hang on before the seizures set in.
So I guess it is safe to say the Jewish religion is just as crazy, stupid, bigoted and blind as any of the other big ones. So far I'd say it's a statistical "dead heat" (although in the recent years I think Islam has taken a slight advantage in the race to stupid town! Red, red blooood!)
